Multi-Cultural Fair  June 2011

The Athol-Royalston Middle School is holding the 7th Multicultural Festival on Thursday, June 9th, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The Festival celebrates our differences and values our diversity. Students and community groups will research and create presentations of information, pictures, music, games, native dress and other artifacts relating to their chosen group, culture, country, religion, or civilization. Many exhibitors will offer indigenous food and special dishes for attendees to taste. There will be music and performances by school and local entertainers. The Ken Wessel Band will perform world jazz music at the Festival. Student projects will be showcased in the library and hallways. Students, staff, families, and the community at large are invited. The Festival is funded in part by the Athol-Royalston Education Foundation.
